Mitchell Amateur Baseball

The Mitchell Aces had a tough night at home last night against the Platte Killer Tomatoes. Platte had the bats rolling and won it by a score of 15-4. Mitchell now drops to 1-10 overall. They will play again on Sunday on the road at Mount Vernon at 5pm.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins threw up some runs yesterday against the Cincinnati Reds. They played early in the afternoon, and the Twins managed to get the win, 12-5. Tonight, they’ll start a new series against the Milwaukee Brewers which will start at 7:10pm in Minneapolis, MN.

WNBA

A pair of good games were in play last night. The Phoenix Mercury got past the New York Liberty, 89-81, and the Golden State Valkyries came back to beat the Indiana Fever, 88-77. Tonight, it’s the Dallas Wings at the Connecticut Sun and the Washington Mystics at the Atlanta Dream, both at 6:30pm. Ending the night will be the Seattle Storm at the Las Vegas Aces at 9pm. All games will be on ION.

NBA

The NBA Finals will be seeing Game 7 for the first time since 2016. It was the No. 4 seed Indiana Pacers dominating the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder,108-97, to force Game 7. Indiana led by 30, going into the final quarter and secured the win. The two teams will play for the final time on Sunday at 7pm on ABC and we will crown a new NBA Champion.
