Mitchell Football

The Kernel football team is playing tomorrow as well and they’re back on the road. They will face the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles at the Gene Brownell Complex and begin at 7pm.

Mitchell Soccer

The Kernel soccer teams are set to compete again tonight. They are traveling over to play West Central at the Anderson Soccer Field. Varsity girls will play at 3:30pm, while the boys varsity starts at 5:30pm.

Mitchell Volleyball

The Kernel volleyball team will be on the road again tonight to Sioux Falls for their match. They are taking on Sioux Falls Roosevelt at Sioux Falls Roosevelt high school. Freshman and JV play at 4:30pm, sophomores play at 5:30pm and varsity starts at 6:30pm.

Mitchell Cross Country

The Kernel cross country teams are on the road today as well. They will be in Watertown competing at Watertown Municipal Cattail Golf Course. Their Varsity Invitational will begin at 4pm.

DWU Soccer

The Tiger soccer teams took on the Northwestern Red Raiders last night. The women took down the Red Raiders, 3-1 and the men took a tough loss, 1-0.

DWU Golf

The Tiger women’s golf team’s Allison Meyerink has claimed yet another GPAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week. She placed 1st individually at the Mount Marty Invitational and even do well in the 2025 Mustang Invite against upper-level Division II and NAIA competition and tied for 13th place.

WNBA

The WNBA Finals are set. It will be the No. 4 seed Phoenix Mercury at the No. 2 seed Las Vegas Aces. Game 1 will be tomorrow in Las Vegas at 7pm on ESPN.

NFL

Tonight is Thursday Night Football. It will be a matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. The game will air on Prime video and kickoff at 7:15pm.
