Tiger softball completed a doubleheader against the Briar Cliff Chargers yesterday. Another split for DWU as they dropped Game 1, 6-5 but rallied for a 6-3 win in Game 2. Next, they will face the Hastings Broncos on the road in Hastings, NE and those games will be played tomorrow afternoon.

March Madness

The men’s NCAA tournament gets back to games tonight. It’ll be the Sweet Sixteen with the opening game being No. 6 BYU vs No. 2 Alabama at 6:09pm. The women will resume tomorrow with the first game being at 1:30pm between No. 3 North Carolina and No. 2 Duke.

NFL

The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to participate in “Steelers in the Field,” a food fundraiser by Team Buche Cares. Which will help combat food insecurity in tribal & rural communities in South Dakota. The event will be held today, and our own Drew Ivery will be on location talking with RF Buche and players from the Pittsburgh Steelers. MLB

The Season Openers for the MLB teams get rolling today. The Minnesota Twins will begin their season this afternoon. They will take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 3:15pm. National TV games going on include the Milwaukee Brewers at the New York Yankees at 2pm on ESPN and the Detroit Tigers at the Los Angeles Dodgers at 6pm on ESPN.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves remain off until tomorrow night. Tonight, the NBA will have one lone National TV game. It’ll be the Dallas Mavericks at the Orlando Magic beginning at 6pm on NBATV.
