The Mitchell track & field teams will have State Championships over the next three days, beginning today. They will compete at Sioux Falls Howard Wood Field today at 10am.
Amateur Baseball
The Mitchell Aces get back to the field tonight. They are set to host Corsica at 8pm and look to end their three-game skid in search of win number one.
MLB
The Minnesota Twins could not come away with the series victory after dropping their game yesterday afternoon against the Tampa Bay Rays. They lost by a score of 5-0 in a shutout. They have off today but return to action tomorrow when they face the Seattle Mariners on the road.
WNBA
The lone matchup last night was between the Indiana Fever and the Washington Mystics. The Fever couldn’t manage without Caitlin Clark and lost, 83-77. Tonight, there’s two games set to be played. The Golden State Valkyries are at the New York Liberty at 6pm and then the Dallas Wings at the Chicago Sky at 7pm on Prime Video.
NBA
The Western Conference Finals had its Game 5 last night and the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2012. They took down the No. 6 Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-94 and won the series 4-1. Tonight, we’ll have Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals as the No. 4 seed Indiana Pacers face the No. 3 seed New York Knicks at 7pm on TNT/TruTV/MAX.
