The varsity girls golf team competes this morning. They’ll head to Huron for the Huron Invitational at 10am.
The varsity track & field teams are set to compete today. They’ll compete in the Yankton Invite on the road beginning at Noon.
The Kernel baseball team will play again tomorrow against Yankton. They’ll hit the road for a doubleheader that begins at 5pm.
The varsity boys tennis team will be in action tomorrow on the road. They’ll be in a Dual against Watertown that begins at 11am.
The Lady Kernels softball teams return to the field tomorrow. They’ll be on the road taking on Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central. Varsity starts it off at 2:30pm CT (1:30pm MT) vs RC Stevens and JV will face RC Stevens at 4pm CT (3pm MT) and against RC Central at 6pm (5pm MT) with all games played at Parkview.
MLB
The Minnesota Twins faced the Baltimore Orioles again last night. The Twins came out on top again and won it, 5-2. They two teams will play again today, but a bit earlier and get started at 12:10pm.
NBA
The NBA playoffs had games again last night. It started with the No. 3 seed New York Knicks making another 20-point comeback on the No. 2 seed Boston Celtics and won 91-90 to take a 2-0 series lead. Then it ended with No. 4 seed Denver Nuggets at the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder and the Thunder dominated from start to finish, winning it 149-106. Tying the series at 1-1. Tonight, it’s a single game between the No. 7 seed Golden State Warriors and the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves at 7:30pm on TNT/TruTV/MAX.
