Mitchell Basketball
The Kernel basketball teams will have split home/away action tonight against Sioux Falls Jefferson with the girls in Mitchell and the boys in Sioux Falls. You’ll have both the girl’s freshman and JV teams playing at 4pm with the freshman in the auxiliary gym and the JV in the main. Followed by the girl’s sophomore team at 5:15pm in the main gym and the varsity girls tipping off at 7pm. The boy’s freshman and JV teams will also play at 4pm with the sophomore boys at 5:15pm. Varsity boys will play at 7pm all at Sioux Falls Jefferson high school.
SDSU Basketball
The Jackrabbit basketball teams are both scheduled to play tomorrow night against St. Thomas. The women will be on the road in St. Paul, MN and tipoff is set for 8pm airing on the Summit League Network. The men will be home at First Bank & Trust Arena in Brookings, SD with tipoff at 6pm and airing on CBS Sports Network.
NBA
The Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Memphis Grizzlies last night on the road. The road woes continued and Minnesota falls to Memphis, 137-128. They were led by Anthony Edwards who had 39 points. The Timberwolves fall to 31-20 overall following the loss.
