Dakota Wesleyan

Tiger softball will return to action tomorrow. They will head out for a doubleheader in Sioux City, Iowa when they take on the Briar Cliff Chargers. The games will be played at the Bishop Mueller Complex at 3 & 5pm.

March Madness

The women’s NCAA tournament completed the Round of 32 and finalized their Sweet Sixteen last night. All teams bound for the Sweet Sixteen include UCLA, Ole Miss, LSU, NC State, USC, Kansas State, Oklahoma, UConn, South Carolina, Maryland, North Carolina, Duke, Texas, Tennessee, Notre Dame and TCU. The women will continue ad begin Sweet 16 action this Friday and the men will start Thursday.

South Dakota State

The Jackrabbit women’s basketball team faced the No. 2 UConn Huskies last night on their home floor in the Round of 32. The Huskies were just too much to overcome, and UConn won it, 91-57 and ended the Jackrabbits season. SDSU ended the year with a 30-4 record and 16-0 in the Summit League Conference.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Indiana Pacers last night on the road and fell short, 119-103. Naz Reid led the Timberwolves with 20 points. Minnesota won’t play again until Friday night. Tonight, in the NBA, two games will be on National TV. It’s the Golden State Warriors at the Miami Heat at 6:30pm on TNT/MAX and then the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Sacramento Kings at 9pm on TNT/TruTV/MAX.
