Mitchell Basketball

The Kernel basketball teams took on Sioux Falls Roosevelt last night. Your Kernel girls were at home and extended their winning streak to four after a 51-32 win over Sioux Falls Roosevelt. They improved to 5-3 overall after the win. The (RV) Kernel boys had a tough test on the road with the No. 2 team in Class AA and couldn’t manage to get past them. They lost to SF Roosevelt, 57-48. Colton Smith led the way with 19 points and Collin Weier tied a season-high scoring mark and added 13 points.

DWU Wrestling

The (RV) Tiger men’s wrestling team faced the (RV) Briar Cliff Chargers last night on the road. They had a team win of 29-12 win in the dual.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams will be back home tonight in Mitchell. They’ll be in the World’s Only Corn Palace hosting the Waldorf Warriors. Your No. 10 women’s basketball team will be starting at 5pm and then the men will play at 6:45pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team will get back to the court tonight. They’ll travel over to Fargo, ND to face the North Dakota State Bison. Tipoff will be at 7pm on the Summit League Network. The women get back to play tomorrow when they host Denver at First Bank & Trust Arena. Tipoff will be at 7pm and also airing on the Summit League Network.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Milwaukee Bucks last night on the road. No Anthony Edwards, no problem for Minnesota. They ended up defeating Milwaukee handily by a score of 139-106. Julius Randle led the way with 29 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
