The No. 6 seed Lady Kernels will be in action tomorrow facing No. 3 seed Sioux Falls Washington at 7:45pm MT (8:45pm CT). All games this weekend will be played at The Monument Summit Arena.
Dakota Wesleyan
The Tiger softball team had their final Tucson Invitational games yesterday. They took their first game over Avila, 5-3, but fell to Park in the second game, 10-2. They will return to South Dakota now to prepare for Great Plains Athletic Conference action tomorrow when they face Mount Marty in a doubleheader on the road at 3 & 5pm.
The Tiger baseball team will be playing again tomorrow as they get set to open GPAC play. They will travel to Sioux Center, Iowa to play against Dordt at Open Space Park at 2 & 4:30pm.
The Tiger women’s golf team just wrapped up two days of the Spring 2025 Jackrabbit Invitational. As a team, the Tigers finished 15th at 206 over par. Individually we had one athlete crack the Top 75. It was Allison Meyerink finishing tied for 71st after finishing 29 over par and a total score of 245 through 54 holes of play.

The Minnesota Vikings, along with the New York Giants, were the some of the other teams to receive extra third-round picks with the Vikings getting the pick for losing quarterback Kirk Cousins to Atlanta and the Giants for losing safety Xavier McKinney to Green Bay. Compensatory free agents are determined by a formula based on salary, playing time and postseason honors. Not every free agent lost or signed by a club is covered by this formula.
NBA
The Minnesota Timberwolves return to action tonight when they travel to Denver to play the Nuggets on ESPN at 9pm. They will get started after the game between the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Boston Celtics at 6:30pm also on ESPN.
