Mitchell
The Lady Kernels golf team finished in second place yesterday at their Varsity ESD meet in Brandon, SD. Three athletes finished in the Top 10. Those being Anna Eliason in ninth, Maddie Childs tied for seventh and Ava Eliason tied for fifth. Five total Lady Kernels received ESD All-Conference honors and those were the Eliason sisters, Childs, Mia Larson and Londyn Hajek.
The Lady Kernels softball team had SoDak16 game action last night. They were unable to get past Brandon Valley and fell by a score of 12-2. Mitchell finished their season 6-11 overall.
Dakota Wesleyan
Tiger track & field has announced their dates for summer camps. They will have Youth Summer Camp from June 3-26, Jumps Camp on July 10 & 17 and Cross Country Camp July 23-26.
The Tiger football team has also announced its camps for the summer. It starts with Football Prospect Camp on June 7, 22, or July 13. As well as Youth Football Skills Camp on July 7, 9, 14 & 16.
The men’s and women’s basketball teams have announced their camps as well. Women’s basketball will have Individual Camps on May 28-29 and July 30-31. As well as Tiger Basketball Girls Team Camp on June 30 and July 28 and then Women’s Basketball Elite Camp on July 1. On the men’s side, they have Elite Camp on June 14 and JV Team Camp on June 16. Including Varsity Team Camp set for July 21 and another Elite Camp on July 29.

The Minnesota Twins got their bounce back win over the Tampa Bay Rays last night to even this series. They took down the Rays 4-2. These two teams will play again today at 12:10pm to see who will take the series.
WNBA
The full slate of five games last night. It started with a win for the Dallas Wings over the Connecticut Sun, 109-87 for their first win of the year. Then the New York Liberty dominated the Golden State Valkyries, 95-67, and the Minnesota Lynx remained undefeated after beating the Seattle Storm, 82-77. Ending the night with wins were the Atlanta Dream over the Los Angeles Sparks, 88-82 and the Phoenix Mercury over the Chicago Sky, 94-89. Tonight, there will only be a single game as the Indiana Fever face the Washington Mystics at 6:30pm on NBATV.
NBA
The Eastern Conference Finals continued with Game 4 last night. The No. 4 seed Indiana Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton, who had a 32-point triple-double in their 130-121 win over the No. 3 seed New York Knicks. Indiana now has a 3-1 lead in this series and is one win away from the NBA Finals. Tonight, you’ll have Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals as the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder look to put away the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves at 7:30pm on ESPN.
