Mitchell Soccer

The Kernel boys and girls soccer teams were in action on the road last night. Watertown got the best of the girls and won in a close one, 4-3. The Arrows got the best of the boys as well and defeated them, 4-1.

Mitchell Volleyball

The Kernel volleyball team faced Harrisburg last night on the road. It was a tough night for Mitchell as they were beaten in straight sets by Harrisburg, 3-0.

Mitchell Tennis

The Kernel girls tennis team is playing tomorrow afternoon. Mitchell is competing in a Varsity Dual on the road against Sioux Falls Washington at SF Washington high school at 4pm.

DWU Soccer

The Tiger women’s soccer team will be playing tonight. It will be a road game in which they will travel to Lincoln, NE to face Nebraska Wesleyan at Abel Stadium at 8pm.

DWU Volleyball

The Tiger volleyball team is in action tonight on the road. DWU will go to Orange City, Iowa to play the Northwestern Red Raiders in the Bultman Center at 7:30pm.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Angels played their second matchup of their series against each other last night. It was another rough one for Minnesota as Kyle Hendricks of LA threw seven shutout innings and the Twins allowed double digit runs from the Angels and lost the game, 12-2. They will play their third and final game of the series this afternoon at 3:07pm.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx took on the Indiana Fever last night without their MVP candidate, Napheesa Collier, and it didn’t go well. It was an 83-72 win by the Fever. Jessica Shepard had a team-high 16 points to lead the team in Collier’s absence.

NFL

Tomorrow in the NFL, week two will begin with Thursday Night Football. It will be the Washington Commanders on the road at the Green Bay Packers. They will play at Lambeau Field at 7:15pm on Prime Video.
