PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The State Capitol and Governor’s Residence are set for renovations after lawmakers approved $3 million in funding to update the aging buildings. Inside the Capitol, workers will begin with fresh plaster and paint for the walls, followed by repairs to the interior dome. Meanwhile, the Governor’s Residence will see its first exterior update since its construction in 2005.
