MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The South Dakota Municipal Street Maintenance Association has awarded up to $2,500 in Traffic Control Device Grants to the cities of Burke, Crooks, Murdo, and Platte. The funds will support the purchase of devices like radar speed signs to enhance traffic safety. Burke and Platte have announced they will install radar signs along key highways to improve speed enforcement and pedestrian safety.
