MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Mitchell crews and law enforcement worked Tuesday night to assess damage after a severe storm swept through eastern South Dakota. The storm brought strong winds, sideways rain, and flooding in parts of the city, dropping 1.5 to 2 inches of rain. Northwestern Energy responded to reports of several downed power lines.
