A man who is considered a suspect in the murder of a woman in Dakota Dunes was captured on Friday in Mexico. 39-year old Alfredo Castellanos-Rosales of Sioux City is in custody in the Texas border town of Laredo. According to the U.S. Marshals service, Castellanos-Rosales was arrested in coordination with Mexican authorities. He was captured and arrested in Mexico, then expelled back across the border to the United States where he is jailed at the Webb County Jail awaiting extradition to South Dakota where he faces two murder charges. He is wanted in connection with the murder of 23-year old Jordan Beardshear, who was found dead in a residence in Dakota Dunes on April 26th.
