HOT SPRINGS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Eighteen-year-old Taya Ritterbush of Hot Springs has been crowned Miss South Dakota’s Teen 2025. She impressed judges with her performance of an Italian song and her community service initiative is “Swimming in Inclusion, Floating in Diversity.” Ritterbush won $3,500 in scholarships, plus awards for interview and onstage conversation. First runner-up Evian Johnson of Brookings earned $1,900 in scholarships, while second runner-up Hallie Carlson of Mitchell took home $1,400.
