Tea Area’s big second half decides game in 47-14 win over Mitchell

MITCHELL — The Tea Area Titans improved to 4-0 on the season with a 47-14 win over Mitchell on Friday at Joe Quintal Field.

Mitchell led at halftime 14-7 off a rushing touchdown of 10 yards by Josh Grossdidier and a 17-yard completion from Treyson Schultz to Lucas Bennett.

Tea Area exploded in the second half, scoring three touchdowns in seven plays on drive of 57, 44 and 9 yards to put the Titans ahead 27-14 with 7:00 left in the third quarter.

Mitchell takes on Brookings on the road next week.
