DALLAS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Team Buche Cares, a South Dakota non-profit associated with Buche Food Stores, is proud to announce a new fundraiser, The Rooster Roundup. The Rooster Roundup is a one-day guided pheasant hunt at Cock Block Lodge in Dallas, South Dakota. The purpose of this charitable hunt is to raise funds to help Team Buche Cares in their efforts to address food insecurity and increase access to healthier foods, like fruits and vegetables, among the rural and tribal areas in the Buche Foods service area.
The hunt will take place on the afternoon of Thursday October 3, 2024, at Cock Block Lodge, with transportation provided from Sioux Falls, Mitchell and Oacoma. Lunch and dinner will be provided with a brief program, live auction and a raffle drawing taking place at the end of the hunt.
