One man suffered life-threatening injuries in an early-morning accident today four miles northeast of Platte. Just after 12:30 AM, an ATV was traveling eastbound on 274th Street near the intersection with 369th Avenue when it went into the south ditch and rolled. It is believed that all three occupants of the ATV were thrown from it. A 38-year old male suffered life-threatening injuries. A 36-year old male and 39-year old male suffered serious non-life threatening injuries. All three were first taken to the Platte hospital and were then airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital. Authorities are not sure which of the males was driving the ATV. An investigation continues.
