Three people were injured, one with life threatening injuries, in a single vehicle crash just south of Wagner on Sunday night.
Preliminary information shows that a 2009 Ford Taurus was eastbound on 303rd Street just east of 395th Avenue at around 8:50 PM when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled. At least one person was thrown from the vehicle.
The 32-year old female driver suffered life threatening injuries and was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital. Charges are pending.
A 36-year old male passenger sustained serious non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to the Wagner hospital.
A 31-year old male passenger also suffered serious non-life threatening injuries. He too was taken to the Wagner hospital.
None of the vehicle’s occupants were wearing seat belts.
The Highway Patrol is investigating.
