Mitchell Wrestling

Both the boys and girls wrestling teams will be in action tomorrow. They will each be hosting a varsity triangular here in Mitchell. They’ll be facing various different schools. The competition will begin for the boys and the girls at 5pm.

Dakota Wesleyan

Each Tiger basketball team competed last night in Dordt, Iowa against the Defenders. The women had a strong back and forth battle with the top team in the NAIA in Dordt but couldn’t stave off the fourth quarter come back and lost, 66-61. The men had a tough matchup as well and had themselves a comeback attempt it this game, but the Defenders were able to stop the bleeding and beat the Tigers, 73-59.

Men’s Wrestling is set to compete tonight. They’ll be here in Mitchell for a Dual against the Waldorf Warriors in the Christen Family Athletic Center beginning at 7pm.

NBA

Tonight, in the NBA, they have eight games on the schedule. Some of which will be available on National TV. It starts with a pair of 6pm games with the Denver Nuggets at the Cleveland Cavaliers on NBATV and the Dallas Mavericks at the Washington Wizards. Followed by a pair of 6:30pm starts as the Charlotte Hornets travel to face the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder are on the road at the Toronto Raptors. Then three games at 7pm including Sacramento Kings at the Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns at the New Orleans Pelicans and the Chicago Bulls at the San Antonio Spurs. Then ending the night with the Houston Rockets at the Golden State Warriors at 9pm on NBATV.

WNBA

Tomorrow, the league will have an expansion draft for the new Golden State Valkyrie franchise. All 12 other WNBA teams can submit a list of up to six protected players comprised of those who finished last season on their roster and others whose players rights they currently own. The Expansion Draft will air on ESPN and start at 5:30pm.

NFL

Thursday Night Football will kick off Week 14. The game will be between the (11-1) Detroit Lions who will be on the road at the (9-3) Green Bay Packers. It will begin at 7:15pm on Prime Video.
