Starting on Wednesday, April 28, the easterly 100 half block of 1st Avenue and northerly 100 North Lawler Street half block will be closed for approximately two weeks for the demolition of 124 East 1st Avenue. The closure is for the safety of the public. Please use alternate routes.
The DOT has started work at the Minnesota Avenue and Highway 37 Bypass intersection. They are installing concrete foundations for the traffic lights and signals. The Minnesota roadway is scheduled to be closed for approximately 18 days and should reopen on May 14. On May 26, the roadway will be closed again to install the traffic lights and signal.
