VERMILLLION, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The University of South Dakota is addressing a social media rumor claiming ICE agents were on campus and that student visas were being revoked. The post originated from a student organization at USD. In response, the university released official guidance for faculty and staff on how to interact with law enforcement. USD officials, however, say there has been no recent federal presence on campus. They’re advising that, in any such situation, individuals should cooperate but first request to involve campus law enforcement or the university’s general counsel for assistance before proceeding.
