Vernetta died at Avera Bormann Manor in Parkston on Saturday, November 5th.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at Parkston Congregational Church. A funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the church. Burial will be Thursday in Parkston Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Avera Hospice.
