The victim of a Sunday morning fatal stabbing in Vermillion has been identified as 47-year old Christopher Bartling of Vermillion. A 911 call was received just after 4 AM regarding a man who had been stabbed. Authorities found Bartling, who was deceased. 20-year old Sha-zay-uh Liggins of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested at the scene of the crime. She was charged with first degree murder. An autopsy has been scheduled. An investigation is ongoing.
