WAGNER, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A 28-year-old man from Wagner is facing four counts of fourth-degree rape. Nicholas Frederick has been charged in connection to several incidents that involved a 14 year old girl he met online between January of 2023 and May of 2024. Frederick claimed the girl had started their interactions and that she reportedly claimed to be 18. Fourth-degree rape is a Class 3 felony with a 15-year prison sentence and a $30,000 fine.
