(Mitchell Now) — Watertown Regional Airport (ATY) saw a slight decline in commercial passenger boardings in 2025 compared with the prior year, according to a report from Dakota News Now citing Watertown Radio.
The report said 1,405 passengers flew out of Watertown in December, bringing the 2025 total to 14,028. That’s down 129 passengers from 14,157 in 2024.
In December, 757 passengers flew to Denver and 648 flew to Minneapolis–St. Paul.
The year also included changes in air service. SkyWest Airlines became Watertown’s commercial carrier in 2025, operating daily flights to Denver as United Express and to Minneapolis–St. Paul as Delta Connection, the report said.
For the first seven months of the year, Denver Air Connection provided service from Watertown to Denver and Chicago O’Hare, according to the report.
