Mitchell
The Kernel gymnastics team will hit the mats and beams Saturday afternoon. They’ll be at Brookings high school taking on the Bobcats in a Varsity Invitational. It begins at 11am.
DWU
The Tiger basketball teams are playing again Saturday afternoon. It’ll be another doubleheader, and they will host Mount Marty. The No. 10 women’s basketball team will play at 2pm and the men will play at 3:45pm.
The Tiger men’s and women’s track & field teams are competing on Saturday. They’ll be at the Dordt Indoor Open in Sioux Center, Iowa with competition beginning at 11am for the men and the women.
SDSU
The Jackrabbit women’s basketball team are set to play Saturday afternoon when they host Oral Roberts at First Bank & Trust Arena in Brookings, SD at 1pm. It will air on the Summit League Network.
NBA
The Minnesota Timberwolves will face the Cleveland Cavaliers again Saturday afternoon. They will get started at Noon in Cleveland, OH at Rocket Arena and it will air on Prime Video. Minnesota will also play again on Sunday night when they turnaround and head back home to host the San Antonio Spurs in the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. It will tip off at 6pm and air on NBA League Pass.
NFL
The playoffs begin this weekend. It starts with some NFC matchups on Saturday. The No. 5 Los Angeles Rams will visit the No. 4 Carolina Panthers with kickoff set for 3:30pm on FOX. Followed by the No. 7 Green Bay Packers at the No. 2 Chicago Bears with kickoff at 7pm on Prime Video.
Sunday continues with playoff action as AFC games begin as well. Beginning the day will be the No. 6 Buffalo Bills at the No. 3 Jacksonville Jaguars with kickoff at Noon on CBS. Then you’ll have the No. 6 San Francisco 49ers at the No. 3 Philadelphia Eagles with kickoff at 3:30pm on FOX. Ending the night will be the No. 7 Los Angeles Chargers at the No. 2 New England Patriots with kickoff at 7pm on NBC/Peacock.
