PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The South Dakota Department of Health is unveiling its new Wellness on Wheels Mobile Clinic at the Missouri Avenue Event Center in Pierre from 4-6pm on May 1, 2024. The Wellness on Wheels Mobile Clinic will provide families in need with nutrition assessment and access to healthy foods. Other services include immunizations, breastfeeding support, safe sleeping practices for infants, postpartum nursing care, pregnancy risk identification, oral health services, developmental screenings and testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
