Attorney General Jackley Announces Former State Government Employee Sentenced in Department of Revenue Fraud Case

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that Danielle Degenstein, 52, of Pierre, has been sentenced on a misdemeanor charge of Misprison of a Felony for failing to report a coworker’s criminal activity. Degenstein pleaded guilty in Hughes County Circuit Court and received a suspended jail sentence, one year of unsupervised probation, and a $500 fine.
