A registered sex offender, Rodney Johnson, has been arrested on suspicion of loitering near Sonia Sotomayor Elementary School in Sioux Falls. Johnson, convicted in 2021 for possessing child pornography, was observed driving slowly around the school on multiple occasions.
A Sioux Falls family is displaced following a house fire on Sunday morning in the central part of the city. The fire occurred in the 1100 block of North Main Avenue, where heavy flames were visible from the front of the house when first responders arrived.
