Five Mitchell High School student-athletes have officially signed their National Letters of Intent as of Nov. 12, marking their commitments to continue competing at the collegiate level.
The award, presented by the American Football Coaches Association, recognizes coaches who have achieved exceptional success and impact throughout their careers. Pole will be celebrated at the 2026 AFCA Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, joining a prestigious list of past honorees.

Mitchell High School and Dakota Wesleyan University teams faced a full slate of competition this week, highlighted by DWU basketball sweeps at the Corn Palace and standout GPAC honors in football and volleyball.
