The Howard girls and Bridgewater-Emery boys teams picked up wins at the McCook Central/Montrose golf invite Wednesday.
The lady Tigers shot a 262 on the day, finishing 15 strokes ahead of Garretson, while McCook Central/Montrose was third place with a 293. The Bridgewater-Emery boys shot a 263 to take the boys’ title, Garretson finished close behind with a 267, while Canistota shot a 274 for third place.
Individually, Trinity Palmquist of Howard was the girls’ champion as she shot an 82, just holding off Garretson’s Peyton Hove, who shot an 83. Meanwhile, Bridgewater-Emery’s Jackson Stahl was the boys’ individual champion, shooting a 77. Hanson’s Jayden Kayser was second place with a round of 84.
