Spring high school football is coming to Mitchell this Friday and next Thursday.
The All-Nations football conference has chosen to play their playoff semifinals and championship game at Joe Quintal Field to finish up their season that was postponed from the fall. The conference is made up of Lower Brule, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, Marty, McLaughlin, Tiospa Zina, Omaha Nation (NE), and Winnebago (NE) and these teams have been playing a 5-game spring season that started back on April 9th.
The semifinals matchups on Friday are #1 seed Tiospa Zina (5-0) vs #4 Omaha Nation (2-3) at 4pm, then #2 Winnebago (4-1) vs #3 Lower Brule (3-2) at 7pm. The championship game will be played next Thursday, May 27th.
