The Class B region baseball tournament matchups have been set for next week, featuring a few area teams.
In region 1B first-round games at Elk Point, #6 seed Hanson/Aurora faces #3 Vermillion at 4pm Monday, while #7 Wagner takes on #2 Elk Point-Jefferson at 6pm. The winners play Monday night at 8pm for a spot in the state tournament.
In region 4A from Platte, #5 seed Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman faces #4 Winner/Colome, then the winner takes on Platte-Geddes-Dakota Christian-White Lake in the state-qualifier game.
Region 1A games in North Sioux City include #5 Parkston/Ethan/Tripp playing #4 Bon Homme/Avon at 3pm Monday, while #1 seed Dakota Valley takes on #8 Beresford at 1pm. The winners play at 5pm in the state-qualifying matchup.
