A Mitchell woman who is accused of hitting her boyfriend with her car and leaving the scene had her case continued for two weeks. 31-year old Brittany Price is charged with hit-and-run after the March incident that left 25-year old Michael Martinez with life-threatening injuries. Price is accused of hitting Martinez on West Havens Avenue near Dick’s Body Shop after the two went to a residence west of Mitchell to purchase marijuana. Price entered the residence alone, and when she came back out to the car, Martinez was gone. She began searching for him and hit him. Martinez was found lying in the ditch several hours later. When authorities arrived at his residence, a 2007 Dodge Charger with a cracked windshield and other visible damage was found. Price was then arrested. She had been scheduled for a change-of-plea hearing on Tuesday.
