The City of Mitchell men’s golf champion is former Kernel and University of Jamestown golfer Jacob Rice.  Rice was in a four-way tie for first place after day one shooting a 71 at Wild Oak.  He shot a 66 yesterday at Lakeview to win the title.  New Dakota Wesleyan head golf coach Russell Pick finished three shots back.  Tom Young and Dave Fridley both shot 154 totals in the seniors division. Young won the playoff round to take first place.  Amanda Schelske won the women’s division by five shots over Megan Hinker.
