On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 4th just before 2 PM, an unknown male suspect entered Avera Queen of Peace Hospital stating he had an appointment. The suspect then walked through the building entering open offices and stole a wallet from an open purse. The suspect went to Walmart where the victim’s credit and debit cards were used to purchase multiple gift cards. A vehicle possibly used in the crime may be a light colored sedan. The victim’s cards were also used at Walmart in Sioux Falls and Worthington, MN.
