Our weather heading into the holiday weekend should be uneventful, which is good news for travelers. Brittany Peterson with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says highs on Thursday and Friday should be in the 40’s, which is 10-15 degrees above normal. She says we can expect dry conditions and light winds. There will be a cooldown on Christmas morning, with a high of 30 and a slight chance for light snow. Sunday should be dry with a high around 34 degrees.
Peterson says we could see some snow during the New Year’s holiday week.
