Senate Bill 46, which is Governor Kristi Noem’s bill that protects fairness in women’s sports, passed the full House today on a 50-17 vote.  The bill limits transgender girls from competing in women’s sports in South Dakota.  It will become law with Governor Noem’s signature.  Opponents of the bill say it unfairly targets transgender students, and that the state could suffer economic consequences and incur court expenses if the bill is challenged in court.
