A Mitchell man involved in a robbery at a Mitchell convenience store in November was sentenced to five years in prison on Tuesday. 18-year old John Beck pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery in January. He was given credit for 103 days served in jail since the robbery. Beck took money after pointing a BB gun at the clerk at Easy Come, Easy Go on the corner of 5th and Sanborn. He and 18-year old Geno Gehl were arrested moments later. Officers found over 500 dollars in cash on the suspects.
