Kernels best Pierre 62-55

MITCHELL — The Kernels boys basketball team withheld a game-high 25 points from senior Pierre guard Lincoln Kienholz to come away with a 62-55 win over the Governors on Thursday at the Corn Palace.

Markus Talley led Mitchell 16 points. Steele Morgan added 14. The Kernels improved to 13-4 on the season and Pierre fell to 11-7.
