The Mitchell City Council meets at 6 PM at City Hall in downtown Mitchell. The agenda includes consideration to award the bid for the Firesteel Creek Ducks Unlimited project. The wetland will be built on the former Kelley property about 2 miles west of Lake Mitchell. The property is now owned by the city. Ten bids were submitted for the project, Whiskeyboard Construction’s bid of nearly $594,000 being the lowest. This evening’s Mitchell City Council meeting is open to the public.
