SIOUX FALLS, SD – Damon Whitfield and Hector Madera, the two Black truck drivers who were racially profiled, refused service and threatened at a South Dakota Denny’s last month, joined their attorneys to speak out at a virtual news conference earlier today about the racism and public humiliation they endured at the hands of Denny’s waitress Anne Fletcher.

Whitfield and Madera were joined by nationally renowned Civil Rights attorney Harry Daniels and Erica Wilson on Monday. Video of the incident where Fletcher ignored the two men while serving white customers went viral on social media sparking interest and outrage across the nation. Whitfield and Madera live in Philadelphia, PA.
