Charges pending against 14-year old driver in fatal crash near Lennox

More information has been released regarding a single-vehicle crash which happened Monday afternoon 4 miles north of Lennox in which a boy was killed. 14-year old Kolby Jennings of Tea was driving a 2013 GMC Yukon westbound on 274th Street. The Yukon left the gravel road just east of Highway 17, entering a ditch and rolling. The vehicle came to rest on its roof. A 4-year old boy died in the crash. A 10-year old girl sustained minor injuries. A 6-year old girl suffered serious non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Sanford Hospital. Charges are pending against the driver, Kolby Jennings. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Mitchell Plans Second Fire Station to Speed Up Response Times
