WATERTOWN, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Codington County Deputies were called to the scene of an accident where a pregnant cow lay dead on the road, a victim of a hit and run. The Codington County Sheriff’s Office became aware of a social media posting by two 16-year-old boys, one from Watertown and one from Henry, who filmed themselves deliberately running into the cow with their vehicle and then laughing about it.
The cow was valued at $3500, and the boys are now charged with felonies stemming from the incident.
