MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Corn producers are pursuing the multi-billion-dollar sustainable aviation fuel market. However, those producers say that Biden Administration rules on how to qualify for tax credits to produce aviation fuel are getting in their way.
Farmers and state agricultural leaders say that Washington, D.C. should refrain from dictating what practices producers use in their individual operations when manufacturing ethanol for sustainable aviation fuel. If onerous regulations are removed then the market will be more efficient, produce more fuel and at cheaper prices.
