PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget has designated US Senator Mike Rounds as a 2024 Fiscal Hero. This award honors lawmakers who prioritize improving the fiscal trajectory of the United States through legislation, votes and policy positions.
Rounds is a repeat winner of the award and says he does his best to be a good steward of public dollars and believes that fiscal responsibility is due not only to this generation but also is a duty to future generations who will have to pay the piper when profligate spending bills come due.
