BROOKINGS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Teen Challenge of the Dakotas is headquartered in Brookings, South Dakota. The goal of the organization is to take young men who have been in trouble with the law and to help them turn their lives around.

The highly successful program has helped hundreds of men turn their lives around and get off the wrong track and back on to the right one. Teen Challenge works with the court system, taking men who have committed non-violent crimes and teaching them how to overcome the life issues that have headed them in the wrong direction.

Teen Challenge teaches decision making skills, taking responsibility, resisting peer pressure and the siren song of “now” as well as how to be a productive man in general.
