MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, and Call to Freedom, a South Dakota nonprofit, is working to raise awareness about trafficking right here in the state. Mary Jackson, a survivor of both sex and labor trafficking, now helps other survivors through the organization. This Saturday, they’re encouraging people to show support by wearing blue, marking an X on their hand, and sharing it on social media as a way to stand together and say “enough is enough.” The Arc of Dreams will be lit up in blue starting today through the 16th.
